The resort is located on a main road, but you won't notice much of it. It is a kind of motel settlement with many detached houses in front of which there are parking lots. From here it is easy to drive into the surrounding area. The beach can be easily reached on foot.
It is located in a nature reserve with many mosquitoes. Although there is a barbecue and benches outside, this is not always good because of the insects ..

I had 1 night in Kennebunk, spending the time here lovely. The staff from start to finish were pleasant and outstandingly accommodating. The room was quiet, outstanding with a remodeled bath with a jacuzzi tub and a sofa, for example, I was pleased. I liked the stay...
Tbh Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! We stayed for one night and the location was perfect for us to explore the area. The hotel staff were friendly and professional during check-in. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well-maintained, with a brand new electric heater that kept us warm in the chilly June nights. The bathroom was spacious and the hot water was plentiful. As non-animal people with allergies, we were pleased that the room was odor-free. The beautiful flower gardens surrounding the New England Style cottages added to the overall charm of the hotel. The short walk to the beach and the proximity to food and tourist attractions were also major pluses. we had a great stay.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The family room cottage was spacious enough for four. Kids enjoyed the basketball area and the clean pool. Close proximity to beautiful and uncrowded Parson's Beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Early check-in was accommodated without making us wait.
Felt secure, no complaints at all.

Overated. Bathrooms were ridiculous - shower didn't have hot water and when we mentioned it to the staff, she said "oh well".

The location of the hotel was great, with close access to a beautiful beach and within a short distance to other popular areas. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the accommodations were clean and well-maintained. We also appreciated the amenities such as the wireless internet access and the availability of beach chairs.
One negative aspect was the confusion with the reservation, as the hotel mistakenly gave our room away. This caused inconvenience and frustration for us, as we had to find alternative accommodation.

Shorelands is a small family-run facility with small guest cottages. They're neat and clean. They have a small refrigerator, sink, microwave, hotplate and a supply of pots and dishes. There is space for parking one car per rental. Also a nice small pool, grills, bicycles, small well-kept grounds and within walking distance of a nice small sand beach. My type of place.

We got excellent value for our money at Shorelands Guest Resort & Condominiums. The room was clean and well-maintained, and we loved the New England style cottages surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. The location was great, just a short drive or walk to the beach, and the staff treated us with friendly and professional service.
The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of options.
